Requirements
- Minimum 10+ years experience in residential civil engineering
- Proven Australian residential civil engineering experience (ESSENTIAL)
- Experience working across multiple Australian states and councils
- Advanced knowledge of residential stormwater drainage design (including OSD)
- Advanced knowledge of earthworks, grading, and driveway compliance
- Advanced knowledge of subdivision and servicing layouts
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory)
- Proficiency in Civil 3D (highly regarded)
- Ability to independently interpret survey data, architectural and structural drawings, and council conditions
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills
Responsibilities
- Deliver senior-level civil engineering design support for residential developments across Australia
- Prepare, review, and amend civil engineering drawings
- Develop drainage and earthworks layouts
- Produce driveway, access, and road details
- Assist with engineering design reports and authority submission documentation
- Draft technical responses to council and authority RFIs
- Interpret and apply Australian Standards (AS) and state/local council engineering guidelines
- Coordinate with Australian civil engineers, project managers, surveyors, architects, and structural consultants
- Review junior team outputs and provide technical guidance
- Maintain drawing quality, compliance, and document control standards
