Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
- 5+ years stormwater / civil drainage design experience
- Minimum 1–2 years NSW residential subdivision experience
- Experience liaising directly with NSW councils
- Strong knowledge of NSW drainage and subdivision requirements
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D
- Experience with hydraulic software such as DRAINS or MUSIC
- Strong understanding of pit & pipe network design, OSD tank sizing, and orifice design calculations
- Strong written documentation skills for council submissions
- Knowledge of NCC, AS/NZS 3500, ARR 2019, and WSUD principles
Responsibilities
- Design stormwater systems for single dwellings, duplexes, and multi-dwelling developments
- Design drainage systems for Torrens Title and greenfield subdivisions
- Prepare Stormwater Management Plans (SWMP)
- Perform hydraulic modelling and runoff calculations in compliance with ARR 2019
- Design OSD systems in line with NSW council DCP requirements
- Prepare DA / CC documentation and engineering drawings
- Coordinate with planners, surveyors, architects, and certifiers
- Provide construction-stage support and respond to RFIs
