Requirements

  • 5-7+ years of experience in channel sales, distribution, or business development.
  • Experience within the networking, physical security, or related industries.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Hands-on experience managing key distributors such as ADI, Wesco/Anixter, KOA, or similar security resellers.
  • Strong understanding of B2B market with a 2-tier distribution model.
  • Excellent closing and communication skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Experience using CRM tools to track KPIs and pipeline.
  • Ability to interpret sales data to identify trends and adjust strategy.
  • Willingness to travel as needed for meetings, training, and events.

Responsibilities

  • Own and grow revenue through key security and low-voltage distributors.
  • Develop relationships with buyers, category managers, and regional sales leadership.
  • Execute joint business plans, promotions, and product launches.
  • Conduct regular QBRs, forecasting sessions, and sales reviews.
  • Train and educate consultants and installers to build new customer segments.
  • Provide product and sales training to distributor sales teams.
  • Collaborate with internal Marketing, Product, and B2B Sales teams.
