Requirements
- 5+ years of experience carrying a sales quota.
- At least 2 years of experience selling into DTC, ecommerce, or adjacent brand segments.
- Proven experience closing full-cycle deals for platform, software, performance, adtech, or media products.
- Ability to effectively sell to growth, marketing, or ecommerce leadership roles.
- Deep fluency in DTC economics including CAC, LTV, and ROAS.
- Strong understanding of the ecommerce tech stack including Shopify, Klaviyo, Attentive, Meta, and Google.
- Ability to provide value on acquisition, retention, promo strategy, seasonality, and segmentation.
- Proven history of consistent quota attainment with specific brand logos closed.
- Self-starter mindset with the ability to build a personal sales playbook.
- Proficiency in managing pipeline and forecasting within HubSpot.
Responsibilities
- Build a self-sourced pipeline through outbound activity, agency partnerships, events, and professional networks.
- Run discovery and product demos while building ROI cases based on incremental revenue potential.
- Manage high-velocity deals to close in a few calls with VPs of Growth, ecommerce leads, or founders.
- Carry and hit a GMV-based sales quota, closing deals at high volume.
- Sell the full product line and adapt the pitch based on new product launches.
- Support initial onboarding and identify expansion opportunities using performance data.
- Maintain pipeline and forecasts accurately within HubSpot.
- Provide product feedback to the internal team based on customer needs and market gaps.
- Help refine GTM strategy as the company scales into new verticals and use cases.
