Requirements
- 7+ years in product management, engineering, or technical program management, with experience in platform, API, or infrastructure products.
- Deep understanding of API and platform design, including resource modeling, versioning, and backward compatibility.
- Experience in security and identity domains, specifically secrets handling, permissions models, tenancy, and audit.
- Strong technical instincts and ability to collaborate with senior engineers on architectural tradeoffs.
- Track record of ramping fast in unfamiliar technical domains and forming independent opinions.
- Demonstrated ability to ship high-quality products in ambiguous, complex problem spaces.
- Experience working cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, and Support in a product-led growth environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience with asynchronous, documentation-heavy environments.
- Commitment to building inclusive, collaborative teams.
Responsibilities
- Own the roadmap for Pulumi Cloud's platform services, partnering with engineering leadership to sequence long-term architectural bets against near-term customer pull.
- Define what agent-ready means for a control plane, including config, credentials, and audit trails for autonomous systems.
- Drive the ESC roadmap to manage configuration and secrets flow from source to consumer.
- Own the trust boundary, including permissions models, RBAC granularity, and audit capabilities.
- Shape the Registry and Components ecosystem to manage how teams share and consume reusable infrastructure.
- Treat the API as a first-class product, including the OpenAPI surface, Pulumi Service Provider, and integrations.
- Instrument shipped products, define success metrics, and drive end-to-end delivery from idea to GA.
