Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years of relevant professional experience, ideally within mortgage operations, banking, financial services, or a related field.
  • Post-secondary education in a relevant discipline or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong knowledge of mortgage products, processes, operational controls, and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience with mortgage taxes, advances, loan administration, or related banking operations.
  • Experience conducting audits, quality reviews, transaction verification, or process calibration activities.
  • Experience preparing productivity, quality, and operational performance reports.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both French and English.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with the ability to identify root causes.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams, external partners, and business stakeholders.
  • Experience supervising or supporting team members is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Execute and oversee critical operational processes related to mortgage administration, including tax payments, advances, transactions, service requests, and loan maintenance activities.
  • Support timely and accurate completion of operational activities while meeting established service level agreements, policies, and procedures.
  • Review, verify, and reconcile loan information, documentation, and transactions to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Monitor operational performance, identify issues, and coordinate resolution or escalation when required.
  • Manage mortgage tax and advance-related activities while maintaining strong knowledge of processes, controls, and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct quality reviews, transaction verification, and internal audits to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Prepare and maintain productivity, quality, and operational performance reports.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to address requests, resolve discrepancies, and improve service delivery.
  • Support process improvements, system enhancements, and operational change initiatives.
  • Provide guidance and problem-solving support to less experienced team members.
