Requirements
- 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Deep experience designing, building, and operating scalable distributed services.
- Strong proficiency in Go.
- Experience with Kubernetes and containerized, cloud-based environments.
- Understanding of financial systems, fintech, or payment flows.
- Ability to work across the full lifecycle, from design and implementation through deployment, monitoring, and iteration.
- Business acumen with an understanding of how technical decisions impact customers.
- Capacity to balance speed, quality, and complexity in ambiguous situations.
- Data-informed mindset with experience quantifying impact.
- Strong collaborative skills and initiative.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and deliver complex, high-impact features for the merchant platform from start to finish.
- Lead solution design discussions and architect scalable systems.
- Champion high SRE standards for code quality, testing, and supportability.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
- Participate in team on-call rotations.
- Mentor and support the growth of other engineers on the team.
- Collaborate across GitHub, Slack, and Google Workspace in an asynchronous remote culture.
