Requirements
- Deep technical understanding of laser displacement sensors, LiDAR, 3D camera, line-scanner, and other high-precision measurement technologies.
- Well connected in the industrial automation market.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful go-to-market strategies for high-tech industrial products.
- Strong network within industrial automation, factory automation, and high-precision measurement industries.
- Experience working cross-functionally with engineering, sales, and product management teams.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
- Background in optics, photonics, or semiconductor-based sensing technologies.
- Prior experience working with robotics, metrology, or machine vision companies.
- Experience scaling business operations in a high-growth startup environment.
- Technical degree (Physics, Engineering, or related) required; MBA preferred.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for Aeva’s laser displacement and high-precision sensing solutions in industrial automation.
- Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships with OEMs, system integrators, and key industry players.
- Lead business development efforts to expand Aeva’s presence in manufacturing, robotics, and industrial automation sectors.
- Manage sales and business development of new products to secure large-scale commercial orders.
- Shape product positioning and messaging to communicate the value proposition in precision measurement and automation.
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to define customer needs, market requirements, and product roadmaps.
- Represent Aeva at industry conferences and trade shows.
- Secure and develop customer relationships from initial contact through to production.
