Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in CS, Data Science, Biostatistics, Math, or related field with 3-5 years of professional experience building predictive models.
- OR Master’s or Ph.D in CS, Data Science, Biostatistics, Math, or related field with 1-2 years of professional experience building predictive models.
- Hands-on experience with deep learning frameworks (PyTorch or TensorFlow) and modern AI architectures (Transformers, LLMs).
- Advanced proficiency in Python and core data science ecosystem (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, LightGBM).
- Strong technical communication and collaboration skills within agile squads.
- Familiarity with SQL, relational databases, and cloud environments (AWS/Azure/Google/Databricks).
- MLOps experience taking models to production (experiment tracking, packaging, Docker, model serving, APIs, CI/CD, pipeline orchestration).
- Ability to work independently and take initiative on ill-defined projects.
Responsibilities
- Advance core AI models and drive them to market in collaboration with cross-functional partners.
- Own well-scoped models end-to-end, working independently to deliver measurable uplift.
- Leverage modern deep learning, LLMs, and traditional data science techniques to build hybrid models.
- Brainstorm, prototype, prove, and deploy solutions to realize market value quickly.
- Tell stories with data to inspire trust and drive bottom-line impact.
- Design systems and frameworks to elevate team capabilities and support reuse.
