Requirements
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and either Korean or Japanese.
- Ability to navigate high-pressure and confrontational situations with confidence and tenacity.
- Demonstrated experience in leadership, mentorship, and project management.
- Proven ability to independently resolve problems and make sound decisions.
- Strong research and data analysis skills with experience using online resources.
- Ability to manage multiple projects using Google Workspace, Slack, Salesforce, and Asana.
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing dynamics and resolve interpersonal conflicts.
- Valid passport for required domestic and international travel (4+ trips per year).
- Commitment to non-discriminatory practices and alignment with mission-driven work.
Responsibilities
- Work with major multinational food companies to advance welfare for animals within their supply chains.
- Build and maintain relationships with corporate executives at food companies via email, virtual, and in-person meetings.
- Engage in high-pressure negotiations with executives to influence animal welfare policy commitments.
- Conduct research on global food companies and maintain data within Salesforce.
- Hold food companies accountable for meeting their commitment deadlines.
- Collaborate with Open Wing Alliance (OWA) members and internal teams on campaign targets and strategies.
