Requirements
- BS in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field with 10+ years of experience, MS with 7+ years, or PhD with 5+ years.
- Proven experience with multiple products in a product management capacity.
- Experience with autonomous driving systems, ADAS, mapping, localization, or related robotics.
- Strong understanding of automotive systems, including software, hardware, integration, verification, and validation.
- Familiarity with autonomous vehicle safety standards (e.g., ISO 26262, SOTIF, FuSa, UL4600, AVSC).
- Ability to analyze on-road data and metrics to drive product priorities.
- Experience defining fault- and failure-tolerant safety-critical systems is a plus.
- Familiarity with HD maps, SLAM, ODD definition, and tools such as JAMA or Cameo is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Drive the product vision internally by developing high-quality product definition, scoping, and prioritization, with an initial focus on Mapping.
- Drive the development of product features and functionality by liaising between the engineering team and relevant stakeholders.
- Define clear, testable, and concise high-quality product requirements, success metrics, and prioritization.
- Partner with the Mapping and Localization engineering team to identify high-impact coverage gaps.
- Analyze technical and commercial constraints by collaborating with engineering, commercial, legal, safety, and regulatory teams.
- Develop and execute compelling customer demos and manage customer meeting outcomes.
- Research competitor products to ensure Torc maintains competitive advantage.
