Job Details

5+ years of professional software engineering experience, including ownership of complex production systems.
Strong backend development skills with Node.js and TypeScript.
Working knowledge of PHP for troubleshooting and modernizing legacy codebases.
Proficiency in building customer-facing applications using React and TypeScript.
Expertise in designing and building REST and/or GraphQL APIs and asynchronous workflows.
Experience with OAuth 2.0, token management, and resilient failure handling.
Proficiency with AWS or major cloud platforms, including event-driven architectures like Kafka, SQS, SNS, or EventBridge.
Knowledge of messaging technologies such as SMTP, Amazon SES, SPF, DKIM, and DMARC.
Experience building AI-powered applications, LLMs, or agentic systems using JSON Schema and OpenAPI.
Upper-Intermediate (B2) or higher English proficiency.

Design, develop, and operate scalable backend services supporting email and messaging capabilities.
Modernize legacy messaging functionality by migrating from a PHP monolith to Node.js and TypeScript microservices.
Design agent-ready APIs that are discoverable, predictable, and safe for AI agent workflows.
Build secure integrations with Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, and other external communication providers.
Design APIs, background jobs, queues, and event-driven workflows ensuring idempotency and reliable delivery.
Improve email authentication, deliverability, and sender reputation.
Contribute to React and TypeScript user interfaces for messaging configuration and monitoring.
