Requirements
- 5+ years of experience working as a back-end engineer.
- Proficiency in Python and Go.
- Strong SQL skills with comfort in data querying and exploration.
- Experience owning a project from design to implementation.
- Demonstrated ability to drive progress under tight deadlines.
- Prior work experience in small, agile teams.
- Self-motivated with a bias towards action.
- Expertise in one or more areas: data pipelines, machine learning model development, cloud infrastructure (DevOps), or backend services.
- Ability to travel (0-20% including international).
Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust backend services and systems.
- Drive end-to-end project execution from ideation to production.
- Collaborate with senior architects to own implementation decisions.
- Mentor less experienced engineers and contribute to team growth.
- Build and manage data pipelines, ML models, or cloud infrastructure as needed.
- Follow security policies, including OWASP Top 10 guidelines and data privacy procedures.
