Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 8-10 years of experience in indirect procurement and strategic sourcing with deep expertise in facilities.
- Proven experience developing category strategies and leading large-scale sourcing events.
- Strong background in supplier negotiations.
- Experience interfacing with clients or stakeholders, particularly in services industries like professional consulting, BPO, or managed services.
- Demonstrated expertise in TCO modeling and data-driven decision-making.
- Experience driving change management and building cross-functional consensus.
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel for analysis and PowerPoint for presentations.
- Ability to interpret complex data and translate insights into business recommendations.
- Minimal travel required (approximately 5%).
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of sourcing strategies across the facilities category, including maintenance, repairs, utilities, janitorial, HVAC, and construction.
- Engage directly with client stakeholders to identify category priorities and develop effective sourcing strategies.
- Own the end-to-end RFP process, including data gathering, development, proposal evaluation, supplier negotiations, and contracting.
- Lead supplier proposal evaluations using TCO modeling.
- Implement innovative cost-reduction strategies such as value engineering and demand optimization.
- Manage and build best-in-class supplier ecosystems by category and region.
- Review major contracts and serve as a subject matter expert for complex negotiations.
- Monitor and analyze spend, supplier performance, and savings targets.
