Requirements
- 6+ years of hands-on experience in data-focused roles.
- Expertise in SQL, DBT (or similar tools), and Excel.
- Experience with business intelligence tools such as Looker or Redash.
- Proficiency in navigating complex ETL systems and managing large datasets.
- Expert use of AI to streamline data workflows and ensure product reliability.
- Proven ability to perform root-cause analysis and hypothesis testing on data discrepancies.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills to align Data Ops with customer-centric objectives.
- Experience mentoring or supervising teammates.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-moving, remote-first startup environment.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple initiatives and deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Partner with the Commercial team to design and build data solutions that inform critical business decisions with minimal friction.
- Manage end-to-end data product releases, including project management and cross-functional coordination to ensure on-time delivery.
- Develop and deploy strategic product improvements to maximize data quality and business impact.
- Build and optimize systems to proactively monitor data quality throughout the pipeline.
- Perform root-cause analyses and implement scalable solutions to prevent data issues.
- Mentor and supervise teammates while upholding data operations best practices.
