Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Strong experience building and maintaining production-grade backend systems
- Hands-on experience developing modern frontend applications with React and TypeScript
- Proficiency in Kotlin or Java, TypeScript, and SQL databases
- Experience designing and operating distributed systems, service-oriented architectures, and event-driven systems
- Proven ability to deliver end-to-end solutions from requirements to production support
- Strong understanding of system reliability, scalability, observability, and performance best practices
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and drive execution in cross-functional environments
- Strong English communication skills for collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience mentoring other engineers and contributing to engineering culture
- Willingness to support the on-call rotation
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain end-to-end solutions for promotional campaigns, payment processing, and other revenue-related systems
- Develop scalable backend services and customer- or internal-facing applications that support core revenue operations
- Drive technical design and architecture decisions with a strong focus on scalability, reliability, maintainability, and performance
- Partner with Product, Marketing, Finance, and BizOps to translate business goals into technical solutions
- Improve system observability, resilience, and operational excellence across revenue-critical services
- Lead projects from discovery and technical planning through implementation and post-launch optimization
- Contribute to high engineering standards through strong coding practices, code reviews, and testing
- Mentor engineers and help raise the team’s technical bar
- Identify opportunities to improve development efficiency through better tooling and automation
