Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field plus minimum 3 years of related experience, or 5+ years of equivalent experience/training.
- Knowledge of construction industry standards, building codes, and ability to interpret complex project documents.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies, budget development, forecasting, and contract administration.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and time management skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills for stakeholder management.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to travel by plane, motor vehicle, or train for up to 50% - 90% of the work schedule.
- Physical ability to walk, stand, climb ladders, and lift/move up to 40 pounds as part of field assessments.
- Must have a personal cell phone and internet service.
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
- Current PMP certification is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead the overall direction, completion, program management, and financial outcome of multiple retail construction projects.
- Direct projects from development through close-out, including design, permitting, bidding, contracting, and construction.
- Manage consultants, general contractors, vendors, and internal departments to ensure timely and on-budget delivery.
- Monitor project milestones, develop detailed project plans, and provide regular status reports to leadership.
- Create and maintain detailed project documentation using proprietary or client software.
- Identify and mitigate project risks while implementing feedback loops to enhance efficiency.
- Ensure project compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and legal requirements.
