Requirements
- 4-year college degree in business administration or related discipline; MBA preferred.
- 5 years of experience in a business environment, preferably in direct selling, sales management, or sourcing management.
- Understanding of technical regulations, standards, and compliance requirements in the consumer products market.
- Understanding of product development and sourcing processes.
- Ability to interpret technical information and translate it into common terminology.
- Strong verbal, written communication, and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention to detail skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to travel up to 30% for trade shows, internal meetings, and client visits.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, and manage tasks under pressure.
Responsibilities
- Identify potential new customers and successfully convert prospects into new business.
- Drive the sales process from research and identification to planning, launch, and program execution.
- Manage and direct client start-up periods, collaborating with Key Account Managers to ensure a smooth transition.
- Develop executive-level relationships at major retailers and brands to understand their compliance, safety, and quality needs.
- Act as a liaison between clients and global internal departments like Marketing, IT, and Operations.
- Prepare and lead client meetings, presentations, training seminars, and trade show participation.
- Forecast and monitor client sales while identifying new business opportunities and process improvements.
