Requirements
- 3–5 years in facilities management, multi-unit operations, property management, construction, or a related field.
- Multi-site experience in retail, healthcare, veterinary, restaurant, or hospitality strongly preferred.
- Strong ownership mentality with the ability to manage facilities operations autonomously.
- Financially literate with the ability to manage budgets, track spend, and identify cost recovery opportunities.
- Highly organized with attention to detail and ability to maintain systematic records.
- Proficiency in AI tools, Google Sheets or equivalent, and facilities or ticketing platforms.
- Ability to read and interpret commercial leases to identify landlord vs. tenant obligations.
- Working knowledge of commercial building systems.
- Clear and professional communication skills for working with landlords, vendors, and leadership.
- Ability to travel up to 30% for site visits, vendor meetings, and hospital openings.
- Dedicated workspace with reliable internet.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the day-to-day owner of physical facilities needs across all Petfolk PCCs.
- Develop and manage preventative maintenance programs for HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and other building systems.
- Monitor facility infrastructure performance and coordinate landlord or vendor repairs.
- Manage the full lifecycle of facilities requests from intake and triage to dispatch and closeout.
- Maintain the facilities ticketing system and organized records of all work orders.
- Review and validate facilities-related invoices and monitor portfolio spend against budgets.
- Serve as the primary contact for landlord-related matters and interpret lease agreements for cost recovery.
- Collaborate with the Construction team on new hospital openings and facility readiness.
