Requirements
- 10+ years of progressive procurement, sourcing, or category management experience in global organizations.
- 5+ years of experience supporting Technology/IT procurement categories (software, infrastructure, cloud, hardware, telecommunications, cybersecurity, or IT services).
- Proven experience developing and executing category strategies for large, complex global spend portfolios.
- Demonstrated expertise in leading strategic supplier negotiations and managing executive-level relationships.
- Experience partnering with senior business and technology stakeholders in a matrixed global environment.
- Experience leading geographically distributed teams and influencing cross-functional stakeholders.
- Strong commercial, analytical, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to travel globally (20-30%).
- Familiarity with procurement technologies, source-to-contract processes, and supplier governance frameworks preferred.
- Experience with procurement transformation or operating model redesign preferred.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute category management strategies across a $200-250M Technology/IT spend portfolio.
- Partner with senior stakeholders and C-suite to align procurement strategies with enterprise goals.
- Lead strategic sourcing, supplier selection, and complex commercial negotiations.
- Develop and maintain strategic supplier relationships and governance models to ensure risk mitigation and cost optimization.
- Monitor category spend, performance, and market conditions to identify value creation opportunities.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a globally distributed procurement team.
- Support enterprise-wide digitalization and Technology strategy initiatives.
