Requirements
- Proven experience as a Business Development Manager (BDM) within residential care.
- Specific focus on young adults or complex care services.
- Demonstrated track record of success in developing new services.
- Experience in tendering for properties.
- Demonstrated experience in collaborating with commissioners.
- Strong communication skills.
- Confidence in working with both internal and external professionals.
- Deep understanding of adult social care services.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Operational Management, Divisional Directors, Finance, and Group Executive teams.
- Market and develop new and existing services.
- Drive occupancy rates across various social care settings.
- Support the end-to-end referral process with Registered Managers.
- Build and maintain relationships with local and health commissioning authorities.
- Oversee contract bids, tenders, and frameworks.
- Act as the face of the client, promoting values and standards.
- Support marketing and PR activities, and work with finance on fees and terms.
