Requirements
- Proven experience as a Project Manager within application development, software engineering, or a related technology field.
- Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall.
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality, deadlines, and stakeholder alignment.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and coordinate cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency with project management tools such as Jira, Trello, Microsoft Project, or similar platforms.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience identifying project risks and developing mitigation strategies.
- Ability to manage priorities, handle changing requirements, and work effectively under pressure.
- Knowledge of software development best practices and technology delivery standards.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with attention to detail.
- Experience working with remote or distributed teams is preferred.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure and DevOps practices is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Manage application development projects from initial planning and requirements gathering through deployment and post-launch support.
- Create and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, milestones, and delivery roadmaps.
- Coordinate collaboration between developers, designers, QA testers, business stakeholders, and other project contributors.
- Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria in alignment with business goals.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement effective mitigation strategies to maintain delivery timelines.
- Facilitate regular project meetings, provide status updates, and ensure transparent communication across teams.
- Use project management tools and methodologies to track tasks, dependencies, milestones, and project performance.
- Promote Agile, Scrum, or other appropriate software development practices to improve team efficiency and delivery quality.
- Manage resource allocation, workload distribution, and team priorities to optimize project outcomes.
- Ensure development activities follow industry standards, internal processes, security practices, and compliance requirements.
- Conduct post-project reviews to identify improvements, capture lessons learned, and enhance future delivery processes.
- Support and mentor team members by fostering collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
