Requirements
- 6+ years of relevant professional experience.
- Expertise in Ruby on Rails, PostgreSQL, React, and TypeScript.
- Significant experience developing and maintaining large monolithic server-side web applications.
- Proven ability to provide technical leadership for multi-quarter initiatives.
- Deep understanding of performance, scalability, and security best practices.
- Experience designing frameworks for defensive testing and robust debugging.
- Demonstrated ability to facilitate technical decision-making across multiple teams.
- Strong communication skills for interacting with non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience coaching and mentoring engineers.
- Ability to work during established regular business hours (Mon-Fri).
Responsibilities
- Architect, refactor, and improve donor and entity user experiences.
- Lead the technical execution of large, cross-team initiatives, balancing high-impact opportunities with technical tradeoffs.
- Break down initiative-level work and contribute to roadmap prioritization.
- Partner with designers and product managers to shape strategy and inform project work.
- Serve as a technical consultant for architectural decisions, system design, and best practices.
- Champion best practices and design patterns to improve platform maintainability.
- Coach and mentor team members to foster professional growth and inclusive culture.
