Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience in IT, business systems administration, or systems engineering.
- 2+ years of experience in a leadership or management capacity.
- Deep hands-on experience administering enterprise SaaS platforms such as Jira/Atlassian.
- Hands-on experience building and managing integrations on an IPaaS platform like Workato.
- Experience building custom integrations/middleware using AWS services (Lambda, S3, RDS, API Gateway, etc.).
- Hands-on experience building or deploying AI agents on enterprise AI platforms.
- Working knowledge of APIs, webhooks, data models, and integration patterns (REST, event-driven).
- Experience managing external contractors/vendors for custom development.
- Understanding of access control, data security, and compliance frameworks (e.g., SOC 2, ISO 27001).
- Experience supporting a distributed or remote-first workforce.
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and grow the Business Applications team.
- Set priorities and operating rhythms, balancing day-to-day requests and long-term platform projects.
- Serve as a hands-on technical leader for complex architecture and integration decisions.
- Own administration and lifecycle management of IT-deployed enterprise applications.
- Architect and maintain integrations using Workato and custom AWS middleware.
- Design and deploy AI agents across platforms like Glean, Claude, Gemini, or AWS Bedrock.
- Manage relationships with third-party development contractors and vendors.
- Establish governance, access controls, and security guardrails for applications and AI deployments.
