Requirements
- 4+ years of professional experience building or maintaining production iOS applications using Swift and Objective-C.
- Proven experience owning substantial mobile features or technical systems from planning through release.
- Strong proficiency with Xcode and iOS development workflows.
- Experience building user interfaces with UIKit and SwiftUI.
- Experience managing networking, application state, and data persistence using Core Data or SQLite.
- Ability to convert product requirements into technical approaches while considering scalability and maintainability.
- Experience writing automated tests, including UI automation testing.
- Strong debugging skills, including diagnosing asynchronous issues and production failures.
- Experience using performance analysis tools such as Xcode Instruments.
- Familiarity with crash reporting, logging, analytics, and CI systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to work collaboratively within Eastern, Central, or Mountain Time business hours.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality iOS applications using Swift and Objective-C.
- Own significant product features and technical systems, contributing to application architecture, UI development, networking, and data persistence.
- Translate product requirements into thoughtful technical solutions while identifying opportunities to improve user experience.
- Build and maintain intuitive user interfaces using UIKit and SwiftUI.
- Write automated tests, including UI automation tests, to ensure application reliability.
- Diagnose and resolve complex issues involving asynchronous behavior, networking, and performance bottlenecks.
- Collaborate closely with Android engineers, backend developers, QA specialists, and product partners.
