Job Details

Credible hands-on experience in at least two security domains (e.g., AppSec and Cloud/Infra) with literacy across the entire security posture.
Proven experience building or scaling security programs end-to-end including process, tooling, and adoption.
Strong coding and automation proficiency (Python preferred).
Deep technical experience in cloud security (AWS).
Experience with AI-assisted development and securing AI/LLM tooling (e.g., MCP).
Demonstrated leadership ability through mentoring, deputizing for a lead, or formal team lead experience.
Commitment to staying technically hands-on while transitioning into a Team Lead role.
Ability to collaborate effectively with developers as an educator and partner.
Knowledge of compliance standards such as SOC 2, PCI-DSS, or ISO 42001 (nice-to-have).
Familiarity with framework-based assessments (CIS Controls, NIST CSF) (nice-to-have).
Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code and modern tooling including Terraform and Kubernetes (nice-to-have).

Lead the DevSec team, managing performance and growth through 1:1 mentorship and coaching.
Define and execute the end-to-end security roadmap, prioritizing by risk and driving adoption.
Perform hands-on security engineering, including threat modeling, secure SDLC, and infrastructure/cloud posture management.
Develop automation and AI-driven tooling to support company security goals and secure LLM-assisted development.
Assess security posture using frameworks like CIS Controls and translate findings into actionable engineering plans.
Interface with compliance needs such as SOC 2, PCI-DSS, and ISO 42001.
Lead blameless post-mortems for security incidents and present findings to senior management.
