Requirements
- Extensive experience in unsecured lending as a technical and strategic leader.
- Deep experience in lending economics, specifically NPV modelling and infrastructure frameworks.
- Proven track record of leading and developing analytical talent.
- Exceptional cross-functional leadership skills.
- Strong analytical and data capabilities.
- Technical coding skills in SQL is a must-have.
- Experience with Python is a plus.
- Experience with Looker is a plus.
- Motivation for fast-paced environments and designing frameworks from scratch.
Responsibilities
- Define the roadmap for Monzo's Credit Platform to support retail and business lending products.
- Lead the evolution of infrastructure that supports credit valuation capabilities, including NPV modelling.
- Hire, coach, and develop a team of five Credit Analysts.
- Partner with Engineering, Product, Machine Learning, Data, and Risk teams to build shared platform capabilities.
- Represent the Credit Platform across the organization, translating technical concepts into recommendations for senior leaders.
