Requirements
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
- Completed psychiatry residency.
- Board certified or board eligible in psychiatry.
- Active Georgia medical license and DEA license.
- Strong communication skills.
- Genuine comfort working with diverse patient populations.
- Bilingual English/Spanish strongly encouraged.
- Experience in outpatient, community mental health, or integrated care settings preferred.
- Familiarity with telepsychiatry platforms and EHR systems preferred.
Responsibilities
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments across the lifespan.
- Diagnose and manage ADHD, anxiety, depression, mood disorders, and trauma-related conditions.
- Develop individualized treatment plans including medication management and therapy recommendations.
- Collaborate with therapists, PMHNPs, primary care providers, schools, and families.
- Provide crisis intervention and ongoing support as needed.
- Participate in team meetings and clinical consultations.
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with HIPAA and Georgia regulations.
