Requirements
- 5+ years of underwriting experience.
- Significant experience handling high-complex cyber and Technology E&O risks for large enterprise business (~$1B+ revenue).
- Ability to analyze complex cyber and technology risks for pricing and profitability.
- Strong presentation presence and negotiation skills for executive-level broker and client conversations.
- Experience mentoring others and contributing to underwriting standards and governance.
- Knowledge of miscellaneous professional liability underwriting is a plus.
- Ability to clearly communicate and justify underwriting rationale.
Responsibilities
- Underwrite new and renewal accounts within authority for the enterprise segment (~$1B+ revenue).
- Own senior and specialty broker relationships and represent the company in client-facing activities.
- Maintain disciplined underwriting files, documentation, and tool usage.
- Lead discussions on coverage, manuscript endorsements, and non-standard structures.
- Provide technical underwriting judgment for complex risks involving subsidiaries and differentiated exposures.
- Mentor and coach underwriters on files, broker communication, and deal strategy.
- Partner with Sales, Product, Claims, and Security teams to enhance underwriting outcomes.
- Help shape regional underwriting practices and process improvements.
