Requirements
- 2+ years of experience producing SEO-optimized blog and web content.
- Proven portfolio of published written work.
- Hands-on experience directing AI writing platforms such as Copy.ai, Jasper, or ChatGPT.
- Demonstrated copy editing ability with a focus on fact-checking and source verification.
- Strong grasp of SEO fundamentals including keyword usage, heading structures, and internal linking.
- Native-level written English with a controlled tone for a US audience.
- Experience creating content outlines from keyword research using tools like Semrush.
- Reliable with deadlines, including adherence to a 72-hour turnaround window.
- Ability to work asynchronously in a task-managed workflow.
- Reliable internet, a working computer, and a quiet workspace.
Responsibilities
- Build SEO content outlines in Semrush based on approved keyword research.
- Draft blog content and web copy using Copy.ai based on developed outlines.
- Perform thorough copy editing to verify factual claims, check links, remove competitor mentions, and ensure brand voice.
- Manage content revisions based on client feedback.
- Maintain up-to-date task statuses and deadlines within ClickUp.
- Communicate proactively with the SEO Lead and Project Manager regarding content scheduling and project blockers.
