Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, IT, or a related technical field, or equivalent work experience.
- Approximately 3+ years of experience in technical installation, field service, or complex equipment deployment.
- Prior experience working in a regulated environment (ISO, FDA, MDR).
- Background in medical devices, healthcare technology, or complex equipment installations.
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 80% of the time.
- Ability to lift and transport equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Must be able to meet specific credentialing requirements for medical facilities.
- Experience with installation management applications, CRM systems, and analytics tools.
- Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Responsibilities
- Assemble, interconnect, deploy, configure, and test hardware and software products at customer sites.
- Train customers on the use of installed hardware and software solutions.
- Develop strategies to improve customer go-live experiences and installation efficiency.
- Ensure all technical installation deliverables and timelines are documented in a Scope of Work.
- Maintain regulatory compliance (ISO, FDA, MDR) during all installation activities.
- Document and escalate technical installation issues to management.
- Provide clinical configuration support and training when necessary.
- Collaborate with the Customer Implementation Team to create implementation plans.
