Requirements
- Proven experience as an Infrastructure Engineer, SRE, or DevOps engineer.
- Hands-on experience operating production Kubernetes at scale on managed offerings like EKS, GKE, or AKS.
- Fluent in KEDA and cluster autoscaler primitives.
- Deep AWS knowledge across IAM, EC2, S3, SQS, ECR, and ALBs.
- Strong proficiency in Terraform, including experience with modular structure.
- Experience operating production CI/CD systems such as GitHub Actions and GitOps via ArgoCD.
- Experience building and maintaining internal developer tools, CLIs, and ephemeral environments.
- Comfortable using observability stacks like Datadog and Sentry for logs, metrics, and cost management.
- Proficiency with TypeScript/Node.js and Python for runtime upgrades and debugging.
- Fluency in modern AI tools for debugging, documentation, and reducing operational toil.
- Ability to thrive in remote, asynchronous work environments.
Responsibilities
- Own the day-to-day reliability of the production platform, including Kubernetes, ArgoCD, and AWS services.
- Build progressive delivery and safe rollback paths for deployments using Argo Rollouts.
- Develop developer tools as products, including in-house build environments and CLI tooling.
- Automate operational toil and workflows using AI-assisted development patterns.
- Drive lifecycle upgrades for application runtimes and infrastructure components.
- Optimize platform economics through cloud rightsizing and observability improvements.
- Collaborate with the EPD team to enhance documentation and perform security vulnerability management.
