Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity, IT, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years of experience in information security.
  • 7+ years of experience managing and leading security teams or functions.
  • Experience managing security product and service lifecycles from strategy through implementation.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, encryption, data protection, identity management, and threat landscapes.
  • Hands-on experience with enterprise security technologies and governance frameworks.
  • Experience managing budgets and evaluating financial impacts of security investments.
  • Proven ability to manage vendors, review contracts, and negotiate terms.
  • Knowledge of regulatory frameworks such as HIPAA, ISO 27001/27002, PCI, and NIST.
  • Familiarity with GRC platforms like Archer (preferred).
  • CISSP, CISM, or GIAC certifications (preferred).
  • Excellent communication skills for presenting to senior executives.

Responsibilities

  • Define and maintain a multi-year security product roadmap aligned with threats, technology trends, and organizational goals.
  • Lead the lifecycle management of security products and services, including identity platforms, threat intelligence, and endpoint protection.
  • Drive secure-by-design practices across software development, applications, cloud environments, and AI-powered solutions.
  • Partner with engineering, infrastructure, privacy, legal, and compliance teams to integrate security requirements effectively.
  • Establish governance frameworks, security controls, and operational processes to support regulatory compliance and risk management.
  • Evaluate and integrate AI and automation technologies to enhance threat detection and defensive operations.
  • Manage financial planning, vendor relationships, and contract negotiations for security products and services.
  • Lead, coach, and develop security product leaders and engineers to drive team success.
