Requirements
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Business experience in a healthcare and/or insurance setting preferred.
- Exceptional communication skills with understanding of company business lines.
- Strong critical thinking and time-management skills.
- Computer literacy and strong typing skills.
- Ability to work a 2pm to 10:30 pm EST shift.
- Must maintain an uninterrupted high-speed internet connection.
- Ability to work long periods of sitting and computer work.
Responsibilities
- Provide regular report status updates to the client.
- Evaluate physician reports for clinical rationale, accuracy, and adherence to client/jurisdictional standards.
- Coordinate clarification and addendum requests between clients and physicians.
- Follow up with physicians to ensure on-time delivery of reports.
- Review reports for grammar, spelling, and formatting accuracy.
- Act as a liaison between the team and the VP of Clinical Operations regarding quality issues.
- Provide final approval on cases for release to the client.
