Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher from a US school.
- Minimum of 2 years of editing experience, preferably in college admissions.
- Strong editing skills and mastery of the English language.
- Access to reliable internet and a private, distraction-free workspace.
- Experience tutoring high school or college-aged students in writing (preferred).
- Background in a communication-based field like English, Journalism, or Creative Writing (preferred).
- Experience in the college preparation service industry (preferred).
- Proficiency with tools such as Google Workspace and Dropbox (preferred).
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Conduct live 1-on-1 video brainstorming sessions with students.
- Provide asynchronous drafting and editorial feedback on narrative and supplemental essays.
- Collaborate with teams to provide in-depth feedback on drafts and conduct necessary editing work.
- Manage students’ production schedules and maintain timely communication with team members.
- Track and log hours worked professionally.
