Requirements
- MS or BS degree and certification in a related field.
- 3 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proficiency with GIS software, data modeling, and landscape scenario analysis.
- Experience managing, maintaining, and populating databases and manual files.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and Web Browsers.
- Ability to travel in the US up to 30% of the time.
- Ability to traverse rugged terrains (sandy beaches, roots, rocks) with slopes >25%.
- Valid driver's license and ability to pass a motor vehicle record review.
- Familiarity with Universal Trail Assessment Process (UTAP) or HETAP preferred.
- Knowledge of ADA and Architectural Barriers Act guidelines preferred.
Responsibilities
- Collect, manage, and maintain preserve-based infrastructure data.
- Conduct field-based infrastructure and accessibility assessments for approximately 150 preserves.
- Perform complex spatial analysis and produce advanced queries, reports, and maps.
- Coordinate with business unit staff to gather existing data and support database operations.
- Develop and deliver training to staff on data systems and GIS products.
- Create and manage BU-specific dashboards to support recreational trail and accessibility guidelines.
