Requirements
- 3+ years developing mobile application for iOS and Android
- 5 years of full life-cycle and iterative development
- Successfully released apps on the App Store and Google Play
- Fluency in Java, Objective C, and application development tools
- Understanding of mobile UI Design
- Experience with RESTful Services, Push Notifications, and JSON
- iOS experience: Native capabilities (camera/location), Apple Human Interface Guidelines, Xcode
- Android experience: Android SDK/NDK, Java, and security protocols
- Understanding of memory management, file I/O, network and socket programming, concurrency and multi-threading
- Knowledge of HTML5, JavaScript and jQuery
- Bachelor or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related technical field
- Experience with Version Control Tools and Agile development
Responsibilities
- Deliver across the entire app life cycle – concept, design, build, deploy, test, release to app stores and support
- Work with product and marketing teams to conceptualize and create new ways to improve mobile applications
- Gather requirements around functionality and translate into functional solutions
- Collaborate with UI Designers, Product engineers and QA to obtain feedback and enhance mobile applications
- Perform coding, testing, debugging, documenting, peer-reviewing, deploying, and monitoring
- Create compelling device specific user interfaces and experiences
- Build prototypes and proof of concepts
- Contribute to task identification and work effort estimates
