Requirements
- 8+ years of hands-on data engineering experience.
- Proven track record of designing, building, and operating large-scale distributed data and ML systems in production.
- Strong foundations in distributed systems principles including partitioning, consistency models, and fault tolerance.
- Experience with Core ML foundations and common algorithms.
- Proficiency in Python and ML tooling such as pandas, scikit-learn, PyTorch, or TensorFlow.
- Knowledge of MLOps practices including experiment tracking, model registry, and monitoring.
- Experience applying LLMs and agentic systems in production data or ML contexts.
- Strong foundation in data stores such as Clickhouse, MySQL, MongoDB, ElasticSearch, or Redshift.
- Experience with orchestration tools like Airflow or Dagster.
- Demonstrated product and commercial orientation with strong communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Design and own a cloud-native big data platform handling audience data for millions of attendees.
- Design and own infrastructure for ML models, including feature stores, training pipelines, model serving, and monitoring.
- Drive the full data pipeline from Change Data Capture through validation, transformation, and denormalization.
- Treat data as a product by defining SLAs, building for discoverability, and obsessing over data health.
- Build LLM-powered pipelines and autonomous agents to enrich, classify, and act on audience data at scale.
