Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Expert-level proficiency in Python.
- Deep understanding of AI/LLM inference and principles.
- Intimate knowledge of vectors and vector databases.
- Hands-on experience with multi-agent systems.
- Experience building with LLMs including LangChain, Pandas, and NumPy.
- Fluent, daily use of AI in engineering workflows.
- Experience with NoSQL/document databases (e.g., MongoDB).
- Proficiency designing and consuming GraphQL and REST APIs.
- Proficiency with Git.
- Familiarity with modern development practices including testing, microservices, monorepos, and CI/CD.
- Strong written communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to maintain at least 75% overlap with U.S. Eastern Time.
Responsibilities
- Build and integrate LLM-powered features into the product, from prototyping through production.
- Develop NLP and retrieval pipelines using LangChain, vector databases, and the Python AI ecosystem.
- Design and reason about multi-agent systems.
- Translate research-style approaches into reliable, maintainable production systems.
- Work with vector databases and NoSQL/document databases.
- Design, build, and consume GraphQL and REST APIs within a microservices-oriented architecture.
- Maintain code quality through detailed peer review and comprehensive testing.
- Work within CI/CD pipelines and document work clearly.
