Requirements
- 3+ years of relevant experience in software quality assurance and test automation.
- Strong experience testing backend applications, particularly REST API-based .NET applications.
- Hands-on experience writing automation scripts using Cypress or Selenium.
- Ability to create and execute both automated and manual test scripts and test cases.
- Experience working within Agile software development teams.
- Familiarity with development environments such as Visual Studio or Rider.
- Experience using bug tracking and test management tools, particularly Azure DevOps.
- Experience performing performance and load testing.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, quality processes, and automation best practices.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Responsibilities
- Plan, create, and execute both manual and automated test strategies using appropriate testing tools and frameworks.
- Design, develop, and maintain automation scripts for efficient and reliable testing processes.
- Test backend applications, including REST API-based services, to validate functionality, performance, and reliability.
- Define and execute test plans, test cases, and test scenarios while documenting results clearly.
- Identify, analyze, and report defects using issue tracking systems with detailed and actionable information.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and product owners to ensure effective quality assurance throughout the software lifecycle.
- Communicate technical findings clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Support continuous improvement of QA processes, automation coverage, and testing efficiency.
- Perform UI testing and expand automation capabilities as application requirements evolve.
- Conduct performance and load testing to assess application scalability and reliability.
