Requirements
- 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Demonstrated ability to independently architect, design, build, and ship full-stack applications.
- Deep proficiency in at least one modern backend language (Python, Node.js/JavaScript).
- Strong frontend capability in React/TypeScript.
- Hands-on experience with AI coding assistants and LLM-based tools (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor, Codex).
- Expert understanding of APIs, webhooks, data structures, and integration patterns.
- Proven track record of working directly with senior non-technical stakeholders to scope and ship production software.
- Ability to operate with significant autonomy in shifting priorities.
- Exceptional communication skills for explaining technical trade-offs to executive leadership.
- Prior experience in forward-deployed, solutions engineering, or startup generalist roles is preferred.
- Exposure to enterprise security, compliance, or data governance requirements is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Embed with a functional department for a defined engagement to identify workflows and pain points.
- Scope, design, and build full-stack custom applications using Python, FastAPI, Pydantic, and React/TypeScript.
- Own end-to-end delivery including technical architecture, testing, deployment, and user training.
- Utilize AI coding assistants to compress build cycles and iterate with stakeholders in real-time.
- Communicate technical trade-offs between scope, speed, and quality to stakeholders and executive leadership.
- Partner with IT, Security, and Data teams to ensure compliance and supportability of deployed applications.
- Codify recurring patterns into reusable building blocks for the broader engineering organization.
