Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Biomedical, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, or a relevant degree in Biology, Chemistry, or other STEM field.
- Equivalent military training, or an Associate's degree with 2+ years of work experience.
- 1+ years of experience in field service, maintenance, repair, or troubleshooting of mechanical, electromechanical, or electronic equipment.
- Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, install, and perform preventive maintenance on laboratory or biotechnology equipment.
- Ability to travel up to 35%, including overnight travel, within the assigned territory.
- Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- Ability to lift, move, or carry equipment up to 50 lbs.
Responsibilities
- Perform service, repair, and installation of products or IT solutions at customer sites.
- Conduct electrical and mechanical testing in accordance with maintenance contracts.
- Meet daily service repair needs through troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and equipment repair.
- Maintain regular communication with customers to ensure resolution of service issues.
- Order and maintain spare parts inventory.
- Drive service business growth by generating leads for service agreements, parts, upgrades, consumables, and equipment.
