Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 6 months of customer service experience in a high-volume work environment.
- 6-12 months of claims adjusting experience (preferred).
- Bachelor’s degree (preferred).
- Ability to maintain a dedicated workspace free from distractions.
- Reliable high-speed internet service with at least 25 Mbps download speed.
- Prior experience working in a remote environment (a plus).
- Proficiency in operating computer systems for document preparation and data entry.
- Ability to maintain a sedentary position for extended periods.
- Strong communication skills for electronic and telephonic interactions.
Responsibilities
- Review and explain coverage details and the claims process to customers.
- Set reserves for anticipated expenses and arrange vehicle inspections and rental authorizations.
- Investigate facts of loss by gathering information from parties, witnesses, and law enforcement reports.
- Analyze medical records to evaluate, negotiate, and settle moderate bodily injury claims.
- Identify and escalate high-risk files with significant indemnity exposure or suspected fraud.
- Provide excellent customer service to ensure retention and support throughout the claim process.
