Requirements
- 3–5 years of hands-on WordPress development experience.
- Native Arabic (read & write) proficiency.
- Strong English language skills for team communication.
- Expertise in front-end technologies: HTML5, CSS3/SCSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and responsive design.
- Proficiency in WordPress back-end: PHP, MySQL, theme & plugin APIs, and hooks/filters.
- Hands-on experience with ACF, custom post types, and custom fields.
- Experience converting design files into responsive WordPress builds.
- Experience with WooCommerce.
- Familiarity with page builders (Elementor and/or Gutenberg blocks).
- Understanding of WordPress security and performance optimization.
- Comfortable with Git and collaborative development workflows.
- Ability to build and QA Arabic/RTL and bilingual websites.
Responsibilities
- Convert approved designs into responsive, pixel-accurate WordPress themes.
- Build and customize WordPress themes, child themes, and plugins using PHP and WordPress APIs.
- Develop custom functionality including post types, taxonomies, and fields using ACF.
- Build and maintain Arabic/RTL and bilingual sites, ensuring correct typography and layouts.
- Optimize sites for speed, Core Web Vitals, and cross-browser compatibility.
- Manage site migrations, deployments, backups, and security best practices.
- Debug and resolve theme and performance issues across the site portfolio.
- Collaborate with designers and project managers using Git version control.
