Requirements
- JD from an ABA-approved law school.
- Active license to practice law in the State of California.
- 8+ years of solid litigation experience.
- Deep experience in landlord-tenant litigation (habitability, wrongful eviction, premises liability).
- Expertise in litigation support, deposition handling, and trial preparation.
- Ability to manage full case responsibilities, including discovery and trial.
- Proficiency in MS Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Experience with time management systems.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Develop compelling case themes to counter plaintiff claims.
- Independently handle court appearances, depositions, briefs, and trials.
- Collaborate within complex trial teams at all experience levels.
- Communicate regularly with clients to manage expectations and provide updates.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with current and future clients.
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and direction to less experienced attorneys.
