Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum 8 years of experience designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise cloud solutions.
- Demonstrated experience architecting within AWS, Azure, or hybrid cloud environments.
- Experience with enterprise systems engineering methodologies and lifecycle management.
- Experience supporting Federal cloud modernization initiatives.
- Proficiency with NIST Risk Management Framework (RMF), FedRAMP, and FIPS 199 security requirements.
- Experience producing formal architecture documentation and technical roadmaps.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to obtain and retain a public trust clearance.
Responsibilities
- Lead cloud architecture assessments for IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, and CDaaS environments.
- Develop and maintain cloud architecture diagrams, dependency maps, data flows, and security documentation.
- Analyze As-Is and To-Be enterprise architectures for modernization initiatives.
- Perform systems engineering activities throughout the lifecycle per IEEE/ISO/IEC 15288.
- Evaluate technical risks and maintain engineering risk registers.
- Conduct technical assessments of cloud migrations, API integrations, and data pipelines.
- Support DevSecOps initiatives including security integration and automated testing.
- Provide technical leadership and mentor junior engineering staff.
