Requirements
- 5+ years of backend engineering experience.
- 2+ years of experience on a custody platform or key management system at a regulated entity.
- Hands-on experience with HSM lifecycle (e.g., CloudHSM, YubiHSM, Ledger Vault).
- Hands-on experience with MPC / TSS (e.g., Fireblocks-style, Sepior, ZenGo, Curv-style).
- Knowledge of threshold signing schemes (e.g., GG18, GG20, FROST, CGGMP21, CMP).
- Production experience with Bitcoin (UTXO, PSBT).
- Production experience with Ethereum (EIP-712, EIP-1559, account abstraction).
- Production experience with at least one non-EVM Layer 1 (e.g., Solana, Sui, Cosmos SDK).
- Ability to read Solidity, Move, or Rust to integrate new chains independently.
- Strong async written communication skills.
- English fluency.
Responsibilities
- Ship production custody code across signing services, key management, chain integrations, and transaction pipelines.
- Own a meaningful surface end-to-end within 3 months, such as a chain integration, signing-service component, or key-rotation flow.
- Pair with the Custody Platform Lead and in-house cryptography function on threshold signing, share generation, and key recovery flows.
- Write post-mortems as architecture-improvement opportunities.
- Integrate new chains including Bitcoin, Ethereum and L2s, Solana, and others from the onboarding queue.
- Engage in async written communication for spec docs, PR descriptions, and design reviews.
