Requirements
- 7+ years of progressive experience managing IT projects, software delivery, or federal technology initiatives.
- Demonstrated experience in project governance, schedule management, and stakeholder reporting.
- Proven ability to create project management artifacts including status reports, risk logs, and executive briefings.
- Practical understanding of Agile delivery environments, including sprints, backlogs, and Program Increment planning.
- Experience managing cross-functional technical teams including architects, developers, and testers.
- Ability to communicate complex technical, schedule, and staffing information to executive stakeholders.
- Familiarity with federal IT governance and deliverable management disciplines.
- Proficiency with project and collaboration tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, and Microsoft Teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
Responsibilities
- Lead project management and governance activities for a federal enterprise IT modernization effort.
- Coordinate recurring weekly and monthly status meetings, action item tracking, and decision documentation.
- Prepare and deliver program-level status reporting, risk/issue summaries, and executive briefing materials.
- Develop and maintain the Contractor Program Management Plan and Integrated Master Schedule.
- Support quarterly Program Increment planning and coordinate objectives across technical and delivery teams.
- Manage and maintain disciplined risk and issue identification, mitigation, and escalation processes.
- Ensure project documentation is current, organized, and accessible in approved repositories.
