Responsibilities
- Assist with reviewing source code and identifying opportunities to improve secure coding practices.
- Use application security tools, including SAST, DAST, and SCA solutions, to identify potential vulnerabilities.
- Validate security findings, document results, and maintain accurate vulnerability records.
- Track security issues through ticketing systems and support remediation workflows.
- Contribute to secure software development lifecycle (SDLC) initiatives and CI/CD security integrations.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams on basic security automation activities.
- Participate in security reviews, including secure code and design assessments.
- Create reports and summaries that communicate security findings.
- Support cybersecurity awareness initiatives and internal training efforts.
- Explore AI-enabled approaches to improve security processes and operational efficiency.
