Requirements
- Deep experience designing, building, and maintaining backend systems.
- Expertise building APIs and backend services in Go or similar languages.
- Professional experience delivering frontend features with React and TypeScript.
- Experience leading complex technical projects spanning multiple teams or systems.
- Ability to navigate external dependencies and uncertainty.
- Ownership and autonomy in identifying problems, proposing solutions, and managing projects end-to-end.
- Track record of mentoring engineers and leading technical design reviews.
- Experience supporting software in production and working in an on-call rotation.
- Strong, clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Collaborative and flexible mindset for working cross-functionally.
- Interest in observability and production culture.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and deliver backend systems and APIs in Go.
- Contribute frontend (React/TypeScript) and backend (Go) code to build robust product features.
- Provide technical leadership by defining patterns and operational guidelines for the team.
- Plan, lead, and deliver complex, multi-team projects.
- Collaborate within a product triad model alongside design and product partners.
- Support software in production by participating in on-call rotations.
- Mentor engineers and share knowledge to improve team effectiveness.
